From P.P. Pasolini's novel 'Theorama', Lucia Penninckx takes the theme of an
angel whose presence takes people beyond their conscious awareness.
The angel is embodied by a child, the public takes the part of the other
characters.
The artist combines this theme with the importance of the setting of the
story. The house, centrally located on an island in a lake, is surrounded by a
couple of villages who want to make their location known by the chiming of
bells. The child walks around the house, the constant repetition of this image
awakens a sense of infinity in the viewer.
